Benefits of Academic Tutoring and Socio-Emotional Support for Children With Disabilities: Lessons Learned During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This qualitative study aimed to explore the outcomes of tutoring and socio-emotional support for children with disabilities, implemented during COVID-19 pandemic. Semi-structured interviews were conducted 20 parents disabilities. The sessions improved children's academic achievement, emotional well-being, attitudes towards learning, learning motivation, interest in learning. They also positively influenced social relations peer interactions. Parents emphasized importance tailored plans education. Results highlight using individualized whether remedial or non-remedial purposes, ensure their holistic development. Practical implications research recommendations are included.
